What happed to this game
Hey guys, I'm here to clear up any confusion:
I was here when this VN was first released, and originally there was a link to the creator's Instagram as that was the only way to contact them at the time. The creator probably removed that link for a reason so I will not be sharing it.
I understand that the last post made to their Twitter account was very concerning, as they announced that they were feeling under the weather, and then haven't made a post since then (May 20th, 2021).
That being said I do still have their Instagram and don't worry they have not passed away or anything like that. At the time of writing this, their last post was on June 14th, 2022. So they probably just simply pulled away from any of their social media involving this VN.

THANK GOD! deadass got scared after the radio silence, maybe they pulled away after that whole apple thing happened? maybe it was a large amount of bad press and they had to back off? whatever happened im just glad they are alive.

Yes im sure you want proof for yourself, but I said im not sharing their instagram. They had it linked before, but subsequently removed it later for their own reasons, and im not going to publicize their privacy.
So the creator abandoned every other of the official channels, cut all ties? No post regarding anything. Not on Itch, Twitter or Patreon. I find that curious at least.
update 2yrs later I found that I think is his insta and this last post was may 23rd. it seems he's just abandoned this stuff
it’s good to hear that nothing bad happen. I guess they are being pressure at the moment since their is so many thing that is needed to take care of.
This is so sad. I've only stumbled upon this game tonight and I checked out the comments. People have been saying that the author's last post (from more than one year ago) was that he was feeling really unwell due to cold. Apparently, that's his last post before he went completely absent on all of his other platforms.
So many people died of covid during that period, but I sincerely hope that the author is well and that he has just taken a break/abandoned this novel. It's really sad to think that he might have died... :(

I really hope ashthick just got a cold and not Covid because askthick is my favourite VN creator's
after looking into it, hes been inactive from all his platforms, twitter and patreon included since May. It's a bit harsh to say, and sad even, but i remember when he talked about how unwell he was doing because of a "cold". I think the bitter reality is infront of us, although im hopeful that hes doing well instead. Don't be too optimistic. covid has taken so many precious people away these past 2 years now

What are the rules regarding re-creating content like this if it's not being updated? I've been thinking about trying to recreate this VN with updated visuals and some edits to the language/grammar, but I don't know what the rules are regarding IP and/or if that would even be respectable.
Obviously you got to ask permission
there asking about rules involving recreating dead projects by creators who never updated again or haven't updated/dont respond to anything involving the game in a long time, not if they could recreate it with permission. im not stating my opinion mainly because i hope the creator i updates and says he's ok.
